Geocell is a kind of prefabricated, expanded, three-dimensional reinforcement cellular confinement system to improve the base condition. Due to its engineered, expandable, durable, high density polyethylene honeycomb structure backed by highly chemical and water resistant features, the geocell provides excellent protection for challenging slopes against erosion while ensuring Slope Stabilisation at all time. Apart from slope protection, the geocell with semi rigid surface provides significant load support for road and yards by reducing fill thickness considerably. It also serves as a great channel protection system by protecting the channel embarkments frin severe erosion conditions and continuous flow it confines desired infill and resist downward migration of material due to hydraulic flows. It is widely used for earth protection, load support and channel protection.

1. Geocell applied to railway subgrade
Setting the geocell at the bottom of the track bed (the top of the subgrade) can improve the bearing characteristics of the roadbed, reduce the stress of the load transferred to the soil under the cell, and thus reduce the deformation of the soil. The construction difficulty is reduced, the construction period is shortened, and the investment is saved.

2. Geocells are used in the ground foundation treatment of highways, storage yards, and warehouses
It can reduce the labor intensity, reduce the thickness of the roadbed, and thus reduce the cost.

3. Geocells are used in the protection of slopes
When used for slope protection, the unfolded cells form layers of retaining walls, which can ease the water flow velocity and avoid the formation of slope runoff.
